It’s sounds like a piece of ancient oriental wisdom or something from a kung Fu film.
I came across it in the December Human Resource Director (HRD ) magazine in an article by Jenni Field describing how leaders needed to be adaptable. She suggest managers need to be like water in a stream that flows round a rock, always moving forward whatever the obstacles in it path!
