It reminds me of a poem by Roger McGough extolling the skills, strength, speed and stamina of a star rugby player in heroic terms only for the last line to state , he must be the greatest player ever to play for the second team. Because this advert is not for the post of Head teacher but their assistant !

 

The list of requirements was so extreme that some commentators thought it was a spoof. It could have been written to ridicule the ridicules expectations some employers demand. It could have been highlighting why employees need to be challenged to take the health and well-being of employees seriously? But it was a real job advert for a secondary school in Sheffield. Many people criticised the advert but many others who worked in schools or had worked in school said well at least the advert is honest and any applicant knows what they are signing up for.
