Why no one reads this blog any more- except you

At one time the hits were measured in ten’s of thousands. It was popular in French! Long or short , flippant or serious, topical or a new angle on an old issue the numbers were pleasantly surprising. Then about 18 months ago things changed. Was it that MI5 realised there was no secret coded messages in the text. Perhaps the French department of education no longer used some of the more bizarre sentences construction and grammar as part of the national curriculum, “ English how she is written “ course. Admittedly the subjects were/are a bit random, a book I had read, a film I had seen, a t.v series , some of which gave a different insight into an aspect of people management. Or just something that I thought was interesting enough to tell other people about.

So have I become less interesting, the articles no longer entertaining or has the audience moved on? Does it matter if no-one reads anything I write, after all I write for my self.  But it is a puzzle as to why one piece attracts 30,000 hits and another barely crawls out of double figures. At one time I thought it was the title and the opening sentence that made a difference because the subject matter didn’t appear to. Now I am not sure.

Any suggestions?
