LoCASE Funding Stream to end 31st March 2023

Apply now for low carbon projects as this funding stream will end shortly.

The LoCASE (Low Carbon across the South East) funding stream will be ending this spring. Additionally, I have been told that organisations wishing to fit solar PV should apply before the end of this month (January 2023).

Details of how to apply for a grant of up to £10k can be found on the LoCASE website and you can check eligibility here: https://locase.co.uk/eligibility-criteria/

Community organisations are eligible if they conduct trading activities e.g. hire out a hall or similar.

Grants must be match funded to be released but Winchester City Council's CIL fund is open for applications and this can be used for this purpose.

For assistance, do contact myself (Anna Wyse, WCC Sustainability Officer) on awyse@winchester.gov.uk or even better, the LoCASE officer forour region: Jodi.Fair@southampton.gov.uk.

WCC also has a free support service via Meercat Associates who can provide you with free assistance in applying for LoCASE funding: contact Crispin Sykes via email c.sykes@meercatassociates.com.
