Do you want to be happier? Or you want to make someone else happier? In the current climate we often hear that we should optimize self-care but what if we are our own worst carers? What if someone told you there is a simple way to become happier based on child development?

In this free online seminar Bruce will outline the seven lessons for living well based on his university lecture series and his new book, which has already challenged the way that the happiness industry works. Bruce will argue that happiness depends on our sense of self and that changes over a lifetime from the egocentric mind of the child to the other-focused or allocentric mind of the adult. He will also discuss how we never entirely abandon our egocentric views which can lead us to misery and talk about the negativity bias in our brain and the tendency to ruminate when our attention wanders. Bruce will go on to explain why meditation works and why it is so important to discover awe in your life.

This seminar will also offer some practical exercises that will teach you how to control your mind and deal with adversity. You will learn about the pitfalls to watch out for and how you can apply “happiness hacks” to change your life for better and for good.
