PMOs and organisational change

Events - Public

Starting 23 May 2018 - 12:30 through to 23 May 2018 - 17:00

PMOs inherently bring change to organisations, but what happens when they are both effecting change and affected by the change themselves? This event will explore this juxtaposition and help build confidence in dealing with transformational change that affects entire organisations.

This year, the PMO SIG is targeting key areas that are challenging for PMOs, so we would like to explore the impact of organisational change – when PMOs are both effecting change and at the same time being affected by it. Our Enabling Change SIG colleagues will be joining us and co-presenting throughout this afternoon’s agenda, to provide a holistic view to change, and the impact it has on people.

Benefit of attending:
Delegates will have time to listen to experienced professionals who have to deal with transformational change and learn from their (and their peers) perspectives. During the afternoon, a practical session will allow them to consider the pace of change in their own organisations and how to deal with that, giving them confidence to return to the day job, with practical tips and tools in mind.

Who should attend:
Those working in or with a PMO, change management professionals, and those interested in the people side of transformational change.
