By definition, setting the right outcomes, and measuring them effectively is one of the most important aspects of an outcomes-based contract and is also one of the most challenging.

This free practical seminar aims to help commissioners make good decisions about the choice of outcomes and associated measures to apply in a contract, and set sensible metrics or defined levels against which performance can be measured and payments made.

Nigel and Neil will guide you through the general principles required and will also offer an opportunity to answer your questions and give practical advice on how to set and measure outcomes effectively.

The Government Outcomes Lab (GO Lab) is a partnership between the UK government and the University of Oxford and is a centre of academic excellence for innovative government commissioning. The GO Lab is based at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford and their mission is to improve the provision of public services through research, policy advice and cross-sector collaboration.
