The London Project Data Analytics Meetup is delighted to welcome Malcolm Taylor, Head of Technical Information at Crossrail, and Walter Macharg, Head of Change Control and Cost Assurance to provide a talk on how they utilised data to provide rich insights on delivering Crossrail. They will be covering a range of topics including:
• Information management and the data environment, including the central role of BIM.
• Project controls data – the key role in gathering, consolidating, interpreting and reporting the project’s data - cost / risk / time / safety / and a range of other kpis.
• Handing over the data project to the railway operator – the approach and the challenges.
Walter and Malcolm will be seeking feedback on how methods could be improved for future mega projects, outlining areas of opportunity and welcoming contributions from the audience on the art of the possible; now and in the future. How could we make it even better?
