PMO Flashmob is back for the first event of the year and we’ve looked at the poll we’ve been running and taking on board what you would like to see in 2020. You want to see more events based around the core functions and services of PMO so here we go!

We’re kicking off at 6pm for 6.30pm for a session on Integrated Assurance and the PMO.

What is Integrated Assurance? Well that’s one of the first things we’ll be finding out when we’re joined by Roy Millard for the evening. Roy is the Chairman of the APM Assurance Specific Interest Group and a seasoned pro when it comes to integrated assurance.

One of the things we do know is integrated assurance gets into three main functional areas of PMO – assurance, governance and risk. The PMO has a role to play in the three lines of defence model – namely the oversight and monitoring – of all these three areas. And that’s what the evening is all about.

We’ll also be hearing from Allianz too as they share their insights from a newly launched assurance function in the PMO.
