Developing your workforce in difficult times

During these unprecedented times, we understand your business will be facing its own set of difficult challenges, many of which may be new to you.

As you progress through the different stages of the government’s four step economic plan (Respond, Reset, Restart, Recovery), it is important to keep one eye focused on the future and your recovery.

And as we look to the future and try to find ways to overcome the challenges we are facing, we will need to look at ways to work smarter in order to increase our flexibility, responsiveness and efficiency.

One of the easiest ways to do this is to invest in the development of your current workforce.

But at a time when capacity, resources and finances are being stretched, this may seem like an impossible task!

How we can help

We want to help as many businesses as we can to grow and prosper during this difficult time, which is why we are offering 90 fully funded and easily accessible places on our Graduate Apprenticeship Degree Programme.

Starting in October, our fully funded Gradate Apprenticeship Programme allows you to develop an unlimited number of new or current members of your workforce to degree level in five areas:

  • Business Management
  • Civil Engineering
  • Engineering, Design and Manufacturing
  • IT Management for Business
  • IT Software Development

Described as “the best of both worlds” by Director of KMSoft Katherine Thomson, the Skills Development Scotland funded programme has already brought new knowledge and skills into a variety of businesses, whilst increasing staff morale, productivity and retention.
