This event brings senior representatives and politicians from authorities at the “excellent” level of the Equality Framework for Local Government to discuss how they are continuing the use the EFLG to meet the challenges of making difficult decisions around budget setting and allocating and prioritising resources that are based on a robust evidence base. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss future challenges in a changing policy environment, including the further review of the Public Sector Equality Duty, through a panel session. Delegates will be encouraged to develop their thinking on the challenges they face, share learning and innovative solutions in workshop sessions led by representatives from the authorities at the "excellent" level, using specific good practice to guide these discussions.
