Enabling and encouraging your local community to grow food on community land projects and allotments.

Aimed at Local Authority staff in planning and environment, NGO's including those in the Central Scotland Green network (CSGN) area, housing associations and developers. Landowners, community growing groups and allotment holders.

KEYNOTE Speaker: Stewart Stevenson MSP

Participants at this event will explore the increasing demand for community food growing areas in rural and urban locations. Case studies and active workshops will share a number of ways this can be delivered and include examples of best practice. Discussions will also address the legal implications, funding and the provision of guidance and support for provider and user.
