This event is intended to encourage networking and knowledge transfer across the full spectrum of geospatial disciplines - including GIS, mapping, CAD, surveying, BIM, Location Intelligence and more.

Where?

Hennessy's, 36 Jewry Street, City of London, LONDON, EC3N 2ET
WGS84 Latitide/Longitude =  51.5131, -0.0766
OSGB Eastings / Northings = 533453, 181165

 Why attend?

As we know, 'Geo' and Location-based technologies and solutions are now not the preserve of GIS Professionals alone. Location-aware smartphone apps, geo-coded 'Tweets', crowed-sourced mapping and easy-to-use web maps are now in mainstream ICT and available to all.

The AGI wants to embrace and encourage this cross-over and the new opportunities this brings to geospatial professionals. So take a break from your virtual social networks and develop your real professional and social network, both within our own discipline and the wider 'Geo' industries.

Who should attend?

This event is open to both AGI members and non-members so all those involved with, or want to learn more about, geospatial technologies are most welcome.

Whether you are:

  • a GIS professional
  • a part-time web-mapper
  • a cartographer
  • a 'neogeographer' or 'neocartographer'
  • a CAD professional
  • a GIS manager with many years experience
  • a surveyor
  • a BIM solutions developer
  • a grad student wanting to develop your network
  • a Location Intelligence developer
  • a non-geospatial professional, interested to learn more

...you are welcome to join us for a relaxed evening.
