Jonathan Shepherd is professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Cardiff University and leads the University's Violence and Society Research Group. Jonathan developed the prototype community safety partnership in Cardiff and the information sharing enterprise known as the Cardiff Model for Violence Prevention, the implementation of which is a coalition government programme commitment.

In this free to attend seminar Jonathan will summarise the reasons for the development of this information sharing model, its component parts, how it works, evidence of its effectiveness and cost effectiveness, national and international implementation and how this partnership enterprise suggests a radical new approach to research and development in offender management.
