This interactive seminar features members of the Academy’s Pilot Commissioning Learning Group who will share their findings from a series of round table discussion events focused on commissioning in criminal justice and highlight key learning points and outcomes from the 12 month pilot programme.

Using interactive media and role play, presenters will focus on their findings from work streams in key areas of commissioning such as partnership, localism and the difficulties of balancing operational and commercial requirements. It will also consider the impact of government and media influences on the commissioning of public services and the need for evidence based decision making.

The Learning Group is an Academy initiative and consists of Academy members from the public, private and voluntary sector.
