SuDS Approving Bodies Three Day Training Series

Events - Public

Starting 26 Jul 2012 - 10:00 through to 21 Aug 2012 - 17:31

A consortium of three market leading and innovative organisations (Arup, Hydro and Micro Drainage) have collaborated to produce a series of three days of training, specifically developed for SABs and organisations submitting SuDS schemes for approval.

The content has been generated by practitioners with extensive experience both in the UK and overseas to help to facilitate the building of skills and capacity within local authorities, whilst ensuring that technical submissions are audited thoroughly in a timely manner.

The training has been produced to enable the proper consideration of surface water and the use of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), which is key to the successful management of both existing and future flood risk.

Guidance and training provided by Defra has helped to clarify what local authorities are required to implement, this practical training covers how.
The courses are supplemented with a Guidance Document, Workflow Chart as well as detailed notes and presentations.

The full training package will support the delegates to compile the correct level of detail in order for a planning application to be considered valid.
