APM Scottish Conference and Dinner 2014

Events - Public

Starting 23 Apr 2014 - 09:30 through to 24 Apr 2014 - 00:00

The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games bring a wealth of opportunity for all, not
just those competing. The success of the games will be measured by the medals won
and also by the feelgood spirit engendered as well as the legacy left behind.

The vision for the games covers a wide socio-economic base of stakeholders each
with their own vision or agenda. Successfully meeting these diverse requirements is a
mammoth task of complex project planning and delivery, based around good
practice and inspirational leadership.

As project professionals, we can appreciate the various types of programmes and
projects required; from the hard and easily tangible projects of infrastructure,
transportation, venue management to the soft and somewhat intangible elements
including volunteers, sports awareness, access and legacy.

Following this years conference there will be an opportunity to network with fellow
project professionals at an exclusive Glasgow venue, The Corinthian Club.

The Scotland Branch is delighted to present a cast of speakers at the top of their profession
including:
