The PMO can play a vital role in setting up and supporting an effective review and assurance programme for their organisations.

The PMOSIG hosts a two hour masterclass – a learning opportunity and ideas exchange for anyone interested in the role the PMO can play in maximising the effectiveness of review and assurance teams.

The class will kick off with a hands-on simulation of a health check of a substantial programme. This will enable participants to experience some of the pressures of a review. We'll then use this experience to reflect on what types of support the PMO can provide to project and assurance teams, covering areas such as:

• Providing a pool of expertise
• Maintaining review checklists and guidelines
