This practical and interactive one day training session aims to equip staff working in all types of learning and skills provision for young people, as well as staff in specialist organisations working with a wide range of vulnerable young people, with an improved understanding of mental health issues relating to young people. Additionally, this session provides a range of practical teaching and learning strategies to help individuals provide effective support to young people with mental health conditions in their organisation. The training session’s activities will draw on extracts from the North West LSC Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness Resource. **
**The North West LSC Young People’s Mental Health Awareness resource was developed as a workforce development tool and comprises a series of 12 modules on a variety of sector-responsive topics.
