Kent Environment, Health and Sustainability Conference

Events - Public

Starting 26 Nov 2014 - 09:30 through to 26 Nov 2014 - 17:30

We have pleasure in inviting you to our first Environment, Health and Sustainability Conference taking place on the 26th November at the Ashford International Hotel Kent.

This is a unique event, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of cross sector working alongside showcasing the measurable health and wellbeing benefits that a healthy environment provides.

David Pencheon, Director of the NHS Sustainability Unit and Tony Grayling Director, Environment and Business Directorate, Environment Agency will give valuable insights into strategy and delivery across both sectors.

The conference will showcase case studies; demonstrate how you can deliver your Health and Wellbeing Strategy alongside providing valuable networking opportunities. Kent is leading the way in this area, being the first area to have a Sustainability Assessment within our Joint Strategic Needs Assessment as well as a strong presence in the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Jointly delivered by KCC Public Health and Climate Change teams in partnership with local Health and Wellbeing Boards, we look forward to seeing you there.
