Event will be running from 9:30am until 5pm. A programme is available in the link below.

Public service professionals, managers, policy and academic colleagues are invited to a workshop on Thursday 18th June which will explore the contribution of co-production to the design, improvement and innovation of public services.

Professor Stephen Osborne is hosting the event at the University of Edinburgh Business School.  It will provide a forum for discussion on the definition, implementation and outcomes of co-production, and explore the links to service design and innovation by considering the following themes:

- the roles of citizens, professionals and managers in embedding learning and knowledge from co-production,

- the relationship between co-production and the co-design and co-creation of public services, and

- the challenges of innovation in public services through co-production.

The workshop has an international focus and aims to strengthen research and knowledge exchange ties across Europe.  Four leading academics from European Universities are speaking at the event, together with University of Edinburgh Business School faculty. Workshop sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon to discuss the implications of recent research for public services.
