Pre-requisites
This course will be of benefit to Trading Standards Officers and Environmental Health Officers whose work involves food standards inspections. No prior knowledge of these Regulations is required prior to attending.
Aims
This course will provide delegates with an overview of relevant Food Standards legislation and a discussion on enforcement options.
Objectives
This course will:
Review the main requirements of Regulation (EC) 1333/2008 on Food Additives
Review provisions for traceability in a range of legislation
Provide an overview of Organic Foods legislation, the National Food Crime Unit, Prosecutions Database, Use By Date, Supplements and Erucic Acid
Review the range of notices in Food Standards legislation
