David Fearon is an experienced construction lawyer, with a background of cost consultancy, project management and dispute resolution in a highly litigious sector.  David's talk is entitled: 
Law and the Project Manager   
During his talk he will review the following legal issues

  • The Project Manager’s (PM) role from a legal perspective
  • Consideration of forms of contract that the PM may be required to enter into and some key provisions
  • Consideration of some forms of contract/agreements that the PM may be asked to administer 
  • PMs role and responsibilities to the various parties involved in these contracts
  • PM’s potential liabilities and professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Case law

He is a chartered surveyor (MRICS), chartered builder (MCIOB) and fellow of the chartered institute of arbitrators (FCIArb).  

This event is suitable for professionals with an intermediate level of experience.
