This course will be of benefit to Officers whose work involves inspection of feed establishments who mix feed or use mobile mixers. No prior knowledge of these requirements is required prior to attending.
Aims
This course will provide delegates with a detailed understanding of:
• Types of mixing equipment
• How they operate
• Current applicable legislation
• Enforcement considerations
Objectives
On completion of the course delegates will be:
• Aware of the legislative controls applicable on mixing taking place on farms
• Able to understand the practical issues associated with this equipment
• Able to look for non-compliance
