Franco Pittoni is Director and co-founder of PIF (Process Innovation Forum). He started his professional career over 40 years ago graduating as a mechanical engineer from the University of Padua, Italy. With two professional phases in his career to date, the first 15 years working in technical engineering, he has spent the last 25 years as a project manager using BIM. His career developed after having attended and given specialised planning and project controls training. He has a deep understanding of data-information management and knowledge of all the project lifecycle stages (design, procurement, construction - testing & commissioning, hand-over and O&M).

Working for engineers, consultants, contractors and as a client’s representative worldwide, he is familiar with multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environments. Franco has a proven record of problem solving capabilities through setting up complex planning and project controls solutions satisfying all stakeholders’ requirements in a sustainable manner for medium, large and mega sized projects.
