Being Chartered at 25 – 'How I did it'

On the 5 August 2020, Hazel Jell became APM’s youngest ChPP.

In this session, Hazel will describe her career so far, and her motivation to become a ChPP, as well as welcome questions from attendees.

Chartered status is seen as the pinnacle of professionalism, only to be gained after many years of service and experience on a large number of projects.

Hazel Jell, ChPP is a business systems project manager at Sir Robert McAlpine, who attained Chartered status aged 25. Hazel will talk about her route in to the profession, some of the projects she has worked on, and the reasons behind her decision to aim for ChPP.

She will talk about what it takes to build a strong application and how to take a strategic approach to your career development. Before taking questions, Hazel will reflect on the benefits to her and her employer, of holding ChPP and her hopes for the future.

This event is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.
