Covid, climate change and net zero, the cost of living crisis, biodiversity loss – we’re all living through a time of great change. Yet the evidence is clear that getting more people outdoors, whether for leisure or for active travel, is a very positive way of helping to address many of the problems that arise from these crises. Whether that’s about supporting good mental health and wellbeing, or designing liveable towns and cities, how do we make sure that our sector is able to thrive in this period of change? This event will provide an opportunity to catch up on the wider policy and funding context while also bringing together access and active travel professionals. The event will also include the SOAN AGM.
