The first event in the series “Effective governance, unlocking data and project success”

From Nobel Prize theory, leading research and 21st century mega trends. Join three subject matter experts who will assesses the problem at large with project success, explore the concept of reference class forecasting and discuss the data required to enable business case investment decisions.


Through 2023, the APM Governance SIG is seeking to build awareness of the critical role that effective governance plays in ensuring the use of project data to improve project success rates.

This is the first event in the series and seeks to identify the problem at large with project success and to explore data sets required to enable investment decisions. The event brings together three subject matter experts and leading thinkers from key APM specific interest groups.

The event will commence with a round table to conceptualise the problem with success rates before the speakers explore reference class forecasting from their specialism perspective. The event will include interactive surveys and a post event further discussion to validate the key problem statements and identify data sets required to enable investment decision making.
