Leading Inclusively – Stories from the Front Line

Events - Public

Starting 28 Mar 2023 - 18:00 through to 28 Mar 2023 - 20:30

In today’s volatile environment, leading projects requires an ever expanding range of skills. Being able to empower and inspire the whole team is key to this, and indeed is explicit in our understanding of leadership. Using a story telling approach, Shona will demonstrate from experience how this can be achieved in your own projects.

Energy security, climate change and the cost-of-living crisis mean that projects we deliver today are often expected to benefit wider society in addition to simply delivering a return on investment and maximising economic value.

Shona is a seasoned, working project manager and at this event she will use a story-telling approach to provide the audience with examples about things she does to drive inclusion and ensure everyone feels empowered to deliver the mission.

Whether you are new to project management or a seasoned professional, you will have ideas to take away and try. Leading inclusively helps leaders navigate a future that is volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. It empowers the team to deliver, drives ownership, harnesses the collective power of the team, and puts people at the heart of the mission.
