The government continues to be determined to crack down on the county lines gangs who are exploiting children and have a devastating impact on our communities.

In this free seminar Charlotte will give an overview of the government’s approach to tackling county lines and child exploitation and how it fits into the wider 10-year drug strategy ‘From Harm to Hope’. She will also reflect on what exploitation looks like and how it is evolving.

Richard will then share details of an evidence led, exploitation focused investigation in a County Lines setting by North Wales Police which resulted in the successful prosecution of a number of individuals under the Modern slavery Act

Finally, Lee will discuss a national, confidential and anonymous support service for young people who have been affected by County Lines and Child Criminal Exploitation. Lee will also review the types of support offered to young people, family members and professionals alike.
