The government's £300 million Family Hubs and Start for Life programme, delivered jointly with the Department of Health and Social Care, is enabling families to access support when they need it. This includes helping to give babies the best start in life, as set out in ‘Best Start for Life: a vision for the critical 1,001 days’ led by Dame Andrea Leadsom.

Family hubs are a way of joining up locally to improve access to services; the connections between families, professionals, services, and providers; and prioritise strengthening the relationships that carry us all through life.

In this free interactive seminar the Family Hubs team will:

  • Discuss the importance of the voluntary and community sector to the family hub model.
  • Draw back the curtain on the Family Hubs – Growing Up Well digital project and share their approach to developing digital and data products to solve practical problems that local areas face in delivering effective family hub networks.
  • Examine how family hubs research and evaluation is supporting effective implementation and building the evidence base nationally.
