Join the Money Guiders NI Network for an information session from Triangle Housing around household support for your service users.

About this event

This session forms part of our 3-event collection Money Guidance – Household Support. This session will be delivered by Triangle Housing.

Triangle Housing Association is a registered Housing Association with the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland. Triangle is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity.

Triangle housing provide supported accommodation, family housing and specialised care and support services and supported employment programmes for tenants across Northern Ireland.

In this session we will cover the qualifying criteria Triangle Floating Support and their referral pathways for your service users:

We will also explore the high-level outcomes indicators implemented including:

1. Stay safe (sustainable affordable housing)

2. Economic security. Including budgeting and benefits support/signposting

3. Health promotion

4. Employment and training support/advice

5. Enjoy and achieve. Networks and support enhancement.

Finally, we will look at the current changes in funding homelessness for example; benefits adjustments/housing selection scheme/cost of living.

Learning Outcomes

Attendees will gain insight into how they where they can signpost or refer customers to appropriate sources of information on referral pathways and eligibility criteria to avail of floating support.

Who should attend?

All money guidance practitioners who are supporting service users with difficult conversations and anyone offering guidance to improve the financial wellbeing. It is for practitioners who are dealing with, or might come into contact with, members of the public who may need support with housing options needs.
