The Power of Thinking Differently for Project Delivery

Events - Public

Starting 05 Sep 2023 - 18:00 through to 05 Sep 2023 - 20:30

Neurodiversity is a paradigm to explain the range in different thinking profiles in a population.  Conditions such as dyslexia and ADHD can be seen as a deficit or a disability, but team performance can benefit from diverse cognitive profiles.

This talk will give a brief introduction to common neurodivergent conditions (Dyslexia, ADHD, ASC and others) and explain how people with these profiles can enhance team performance. It will also cover what adjustments can be put in place to help neurodivergent individuals excel in the workplace.

This session will explore the role of neurodiversity in successful project delivery, drawing on the speakers personal experience and work with The Civil Service Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Network.

This is an interactive session that aims to increase understanding and promote the benefits of embracing neuro-inclusion.
