REGISTER HERE:  Supporting survivors of modern slavery

On International Anti-Slavery Day we invite money guiders to an event to explore issues around modern slavery. This event will introduce participants to suggestions about how to identify a possible victim of modern slavery and what can be done. We will also look at the national landscape in the UK and how the government's National Referral Mechanism is intended to work. We will also learn about the help that survivors of modern slavery should receive and hear about how the organisation Hope at Home supports survivors.

This session is for money guidance practitioners who would like to be aware of issues around modern slavery and for anyone who would like an introduction to the subject.

Attendees will learn

Learning points may include but are not limited to:

• Tips to identify someone who might be a victim of modern slavery

• What to do if a money guider has concerns

• What the National Referral Mechanism is and how it works

• Awareness about the organisation Hope at Home
