What’s the point of delivering anything?

Events - Public

Starting 21 Mar 2024 - 18:00 through to 21 Mar 2024 - 20:30

In this session, Annabelle Ransome-Williams, SSN-AUKUS Programme Director at the MOD and Jess Richardson, Senior Manager in the Portfolio Assurance team at NATS will discuss their experience of putting Outcome Management & Benefits Management into practice.  The panel session will be hosted by Wessex Branch Chair, Dave Corbin.

Many programmes & portfolios aspire to be benefits-led and there is a lot of theory setting out how to achieve this. The reality is that putting the theory into practice is complex, energy-sapping and typically faces a lot of resistance.

In this session you will hear some stories about how to get started, what we have learned from experience and some of the pot-holes to be navigated.

The panel will share some tips on:

  • when and how to start,
  • how to build momentum, and
  • the evolving maturity of outcomes & benefits.

This session is open to all, whether you are a practicing project professional or simply wanting to find out more.
