Dr. Jill Zwicker is a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Pediatric Brain Development and Rehabilitation and is a Professor in the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She has 30+ years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist and is an internationally recognized expert in Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Dr. Zwicker’s research program aims to better understand potential causes of DCD, to evaluate the effect of rehabilitation (CO-OP) on motor skill and brain development, and to inform evidence-based care to improve outcomes for children with DCD.
