Learn how to better help those struggling with the financial pressures associated with supporting older people.
This session is being delivered by Dangos Wales
Dangos is the Welsh Government funded project to help volunteers and employees show people who may need support that there are a lot of ways, in Wales, to improve their financial situation, and to ease their worries about accessing support that is available, including welfare benefits and the many other types of help available. It is delivered as online sessions, with information packs and links as well as access to more detailed e-learning courses – all free.
Now in our third year, we are looking to move beyond general issues and problems. We are developing new sessions focussing on:
- children and young people
- older people
- people in need of care
in these, we will be looking at financial impacts on people and available support beyond welfare benefits.
If you would like to know more about Dangos, or book individuals onto our other sessions, our website is available in English at https://www.dangos.wales/ and in Welsh at https://www.dangos.cymru/. If you’d like to book teams onto in-house courses, please email info@dangos.wales.
