Being digitally included, having the ability to access a device, having adequate data and the digital skills to use them is crucial to being financially included.

Digital and financial inclusion go hand in hand, without digital access or skills people can not access the services, support and benefits they are entitled to.

To become financially independent and have the ability to take control of financial wellbeing people must have essential digital skills.

This session, with the Mhor Collective, will focus on why essential digital skills are crucial to helping people gain financial wellbeing and ensuring they can access all the services and support they are entitled to.

What will be covered?

  • Why digital exclusion leads to financial exclusion and what we can do to help
  • The key digital skills needed to help support financial independence
  • Barriers that people face
  • Explore what support is out there and what might help
  • Help Digital Champions feel more confident in signposting and supporting online transactions
