"Benefits, Data & the Peformance Lifecycle" Meet up event, 13 Feb, London organised by Martin Paver.

Does 5 minutes per person really realise £millions? TfL faces unprecedented pressure to continue to deliver value for money and at the same time improve services within available resources. Find out more at this month's Project Data and Analytics!

One of the key challenges is being able to demonstrate, to both internal and external stakeholders, the success of investments and to what extent they have delivered their strategic step changes and benefits to transport users and the community of London as a whole.

Effective data is a fundamental part of successful benefits realisation but it’s not without its challenges. With nearly 20 years’ experience of working within the public sector, Ben has seen many different approaches to ‘justifying’ investments and demonstrating the ‘benefits’. In this talk, Ben will share his experience of using data to support benefits at the various stages of the performance lifecycle and some of the lessons he has learnt and challenges he still faces.

Ben Ganney: Ben is the ‘professional head’ of benefits and value management across TfL. He is responsible for developing and promoting consistent and best practice benefits and value management, assuring maturity with subsequent competency development and providing support and advice to ensure successful benefits realisation and demonstrable value improvements.
