In the wake of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and efforts to address violence against women and girls, this seminar focuses on the experience, learning and innovative responses from a local authority perspective to implement a system wide, coordinated community response to Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls.

This free seminar will discuss how a system wide strategy has been developed, using a coordinated community response to domestic abuse and how violence against women and girls (VAWG) fits into this.

Speakers will also share their learnings from implementing the act/new strategy and share innovation in addressing VAWG in a City context, working at individual, community and system levels.
