We are delighted to extend an exclusive invitation to you to our innovative Heritage Decarbonisation morning aimed at building owners and managers who are committed to the decarbonisation of their building portfolios and ensuring a sustainable future for our cherished built heritage.

The morning will be held on Wednesday 13th March between 9am-12.30pm at the iconic Liverpool Cathedral.

The morning will consist of a number of CPD seminars focussed on different elements of the decarbonisation process for historic buildings, sharing innovative solutions, best practice and expertise within the industry. 

We’re pleased to be joined by the following presenters:

Lindsay Law – Managing Director at Quadriga Contracts Ltd

Lindsay will provide an informative overview of the climate emergency and its relationship to built heritage.

Mark Postill – Decarbonomics™ Delivery Lead at AtkinsRéalis

Mark will introduce the Decarbonomics™ platform with provides solutions to decarbonise the built environment in a cost-effective way.

Nicholas Dabney – Technical Sales Manager at Selectaglaze Secondary Glazing

This presentation will leave you confident in the ability to create a good specification when detailing secondary glazing in a heritage or listed building project.

Dominic Putnam – Head of Marketing and Business Development at Lime Green Natural Insulation Products

This presentation an introduction to Warmshell, natural wall insulation system, designed to improve the thermal efficiency of traditional and solid masonry wall construction

Following the presentations, tours of the cathedral are available, uncovering the history, architecture and hidden treasures of this iconic building.  This can be paid for on the day at a cost of £6 which goes towards the upkeep of the cathedral.  Please let me know if you’re interested so I can inform the cathedral tour guide of approximate numbers. 

Spaces for the morning are limited and offered on a first come first serve basis.  Breakfast and refreshments will be provided and there is parking available at the cathedral.  Please inform us of any dietary requirements.
