This session is being delivered by Clean Slate in collaboration with the Money Guiders Wales Network.

This motivational session will provide money guidance practitioners with an increased sense of purpose and an improved appreciation of the value of our services, as well as offering practical tips to help you support vulnerable people in their journey towards improved financial wellbeing.

Receiving high quality money guidance can be completely transformative for people in vulnerable circumstances, and those experiencing poor financial wellbeing. Accessing money guidance can help people to stay financially well, and may even help to prevent them needing 'emergency' money services like debt advice and foodbanks. To provide this guidance successfully, money guiders must be equipped with the relevant tools, skills and knowledge so that they can help vulnerable people and those in need of support, before things spiral towards a crisis point.

About

In this interactive webinar, Jeff Mitchell, founder of Clean Slate Training & Employment CIC explores financial guidance and its impact on individuals' wellbeing. Drawing on impact data from programmes and frontline experiences, Jeff will present key learnings about the potential for sound financial guidance to empower participants to not only take control of their money but as a result of their lives more generally. We will explore how good money guidance can transform attitudes to change and accessing support, transform the way people make financial decisions, and as a result, how this can reduce people's stress and anxiety - improving overall wellbeing.
