Talking Money with the Neurospicy: Helping money guidance practitioners support neurodivergent people

This interactive event will explore the concept of neurodiversity to improve understanding of neurodivergence, increase awareness of financial challenges faced by neurodivergent people, and boost recognition of the range of possible conditions and barriers that service users may present with and experience. The session will help frontline workers to understand, engage and support neurodivergent people with money guidance, improving their skills and confidence to provide help and to make services more accessible and inclusive.

We will consider the potential barriers faced by neurodivergent people at all stages of seeking and accessing money guidance, and collaborate to find ways to dismantle those barriers. You will leave the session with actionable steps you can take to improve your practice immediately, and more confidence in your understanding of neurodiversity.
