The Local Government Association (LGA) is holding a virtual conference on 19 May 2022 exploring Whole Systems Approaches to promoting healthier weight and how local authorities can apply these in practice. The conference aims to revisit the evidence that suggests that a whole systems approach could help tackle complex problems such as obesity and will explore how it can be applied in practice. It will also feature local practice examples of actions that can be delivered as part of regional whole systems approaches, including weight management services.
