Scientists have discovered that dung beetles are the only creatures that cooperate like  humans in moving an object to over come obsticals. (Guardian 17 January).   What have a Cambridge varsity ball, a history teacher and a board game got in common? Why would a group of students think Gone with the wind would make a great theme for a university ball with it underlying subject of slavery and racial stereotypes? Make them laugh Whoever the audience, whatever the topic it helps if you can make them laugh. Humour can defuse a tense situation and it’s hard to stay angry if you’re smiling.
