According to statistics two thirds of the UK population now own a smartphone and this figure is set to rise above 70% by 2018. Gone are the days when you had to be confined to your desk in order to work. More sophisticated mobile devices, whether smart phones or tablets, have made it so much easier for many of us to continue our professional lives on the move.

The KHub facts
Traditionally, most people accessing Knowledge Hub tend to do it from their desktop at work. This is still largely the case - and is understandable given that we’re a platform for professional people to work together - but we have seen a 5% increase in mobile and tablet usage of Knowledge Hub during 2016 and we’re certain this is on the rise. That’s why improving the mobile experience of KHub is important - and it’s something you said you wanted us to do.

What’s new?

The new-look Knowledge Hub will provide a more consistent experience whether you’re using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. It will be easier and quicker to access your groups, conversations and connections from your device and you’ll be able to interact much more easily.

Additional mobile improvements coming later on in 2017 will also include a native app, so watch out for updates about that next year.

Happy Christmas!
We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our members, partners and clients a fabulous, fun-filled Christmas and a very happy, healthy new year. Thank you for all your support in 2016 and we look forward to working with you in 2017.

Look out for our next blog in January for more sneak previews and news on what’s changing on Knowledge Hub.
