Featured blog: Phoenix recognised for improved enforcement practice

Phoenix initiatives recognised at two industry functions across the country

The following announcment was made:

Congratulations are in order for Phoenix's Managing Director, Paul Caddy, who at last night's annual BPA Members' Dinner in London, was awarded the Ernest Davies Award for Advanced Parking Knowledge.

The award recognised Paul's recent article supporting calls for an independent regulator for the enforcement industry. A copy of the winning article can be viewed here.

Phoenix were also recognised at last night's Credit Strategy Collections and Customer Service Awards in Manchester. We were shortlisted in the Vulnerable Customer Support Initiative (non-creditor) category for our vulnerability training programmes and relationships with independent advice sector partners.

While we didn't take the big prize for this category, our training development partners, the Money Advice Trust, won the award for Best Training Provider. When receiving the award on behalf of MAT, Lindsey Humphries kindly spoke highly of Phoenix's contribution to the success of their programmes (including providing some real-world experience out with an enforcement agent for MAT staff).

Andy Cummins, Phoenix's Business Development and Client Director, commented: "We have always aimed to be the most progressive company in our sector. It is very gratifying to see the efforts we are making to continually improve enforcement practice are being recognised across different sections of the industry."
