Help us to help you in 2013

Happy New Year everyone!

I just wanted to write this quick blog to remind those who've received an email about our Knowledge Hub feedback survey, to please take a few minutes to fill it in for us.

Not everyone will have received the email - the survey is being conducted with a random sample of people, both those who currently make a lot of use of online resources and those who do not; 3000 Knowledge Hub users have been randomly sampled as part of this process.

If  you did receive the email invitation from us before Christmas asking you to participate and you've not already completed the survey (thank you if you have), we'd be really grateful for your help and ask that you fill it in by Friday 11 January 2013.

The survey, launched by the Local Government Association in partnership with the Scottish Improvement Service, aims to find out more about how people share learning, experiences, conversations and good practice online. We are also keen to find out how people are using the Knowledge Hub, what they find most useful about it, what they think should be improved and what benefit (if any) they have gained from it.

Thank you for your help with this survey. Your feedback is hugely valuable and will enable us to develop and improve our online knowledge sharing services in the future.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Liz Spratt (elizabeth.spratt@local.gov.uk) or Liz Copeland (liz.copeland@local.gov.uk)

Many thanks.

Is there anywhere on the site that tells you how to set up a new forum thread? Thanks
Hi George, you might find the groups section of our help pages of use. There's a part in there that talks about adding a forum discussion. When you go to the forum in a group and click on the forum name, you should see an option on the right hand side to add a thread. Drop me a line via direct message if you don't see this, or you need some help and I can give you a call. Cheers, L.
