The Care and Health Improvement Programme is seeking to expand and diversify its pool of potential suppliers to support local health and care systems.
We are looking for expert, independent commissioning and markets associates to bring proven senior level experience in a social care and/or health sector care setting, recent experience of working with councils, and with a range of skills across market shaping and commissioning services. Suppliers carry out consultancy projects and bespoke support to councils for the Care and Health Improvement Programme (CHIP) on activity which will range from strategic to specific operational aspects of commissioning.
If successful you will have the opportunity to quote for projects and/or the provision of bespoke support to councils as part of the LGA CHIP offer to local government, as specified by the lead Commissioning and Markets Adviser and the Care and Health Improvement Advisers.
You may also be asked to work collaboratively with our partner organisations as well as LGA Principal Advisers, LGA Care and Health Improvement Advisers (CHIA’s) and their regional colleagues. Please note that bidders who are successful and are admitted to the Associate List are not guaranteed work.
