Alcohol and drug misuse are widespread throughout our society, and while the number of people with serious problems is relatively small, there is evidence that the impact on people’s lives is increasing.
Adopting the highly visual format of the Healthier Lives site, ‘Healthier Lives – Alcohol and Drugs’ now show eight indicators relating to alcohol and drugs. The Co-existing Substance Misuse and Mental Health Issues (CESSMHI ) profiling tool, which presents 15 indicators relating to alcohol, drugs and tobacco, has also been recently published.
